Here, you find possible solutions to problems that can occur when installing Digital Process Factory.

Package Cannot Be Installed on Linux

[E] Package is not for current Plattform! Intended for: WINNT5

inst_package shows this error on Linux if the .opt file of the package specifies winnt5 as operating system. Change the operating system to all. The changed package installs on Linux and Windows.

  1. Extract the .opt file from the ZIP file of the package.

  2. Open the .opt file in an editor and replace winnt5 with all.

  3. Save the changed .opt file back into the ZIP file. Keep its path within the ZIP file.

  4. Install the package again with inst_package.
